Download iCal FileMarch 4, 2019 is International Badge Day, honoring the interfraternal experience of all members who join our Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) communities across the globe. Begun in 1997 by the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) to honor sisterhood, Badge Day has since expanded and welcomed students members on campuses and all those in their alumni status to proudly wear their membership badge together on this annual date and to reflect upon the commitment of our united networks and communities of service.
We invite the leadership of each active fraternity and sorority on the UIC campus to nominate a rising leader within their organization, where those selected members will be recognized publicly this evening as embodying the mission and spirit of UIC FSL and of Badge Day.
New Spring 2019 initiates to the Order of Omega honor society will also be inducted in a special ceremony throughout this evening, with a celebration dinner to follow.
